Hi all,
Sometimes I played for just a while and I felt dizzy.
My kid complained the same thing too.
The game we tried is Barbie as the Island Princess.
Anyone has the same experience?
Is this normal?
Thanks.

I think Barbie might make me sick too. ;) Seriously though, VR sickness is a well documented form of motion sickness, it was a big deal back in the 90's, when VR was "the next big thing". Some people are very sensitive to their eyes telling them that they're moving, but their body sitting still. I have a friend who can't play FPS's as they make him really sick. Some games more than others... If you must play Barbie, move as far back from the TV as you can, so your eyes can see that you're not really moving.

The thing is, if I play wii Sports, we don't have that sickness.
In fact, we enjoy it so much that we play < 1m away...:P
But when we play Barbie, we are already sitting very far away, at least 2m away.
So far, that's the only game that make us sick.
Maybe we try playing nearer next time.
Yet to try other games though...

hehe, the first thing I thought was of Wii owners sick of their Wii.
At least, I'm kind of burnt out with Wii and the Wiimote controls.

Do you get sick when you play other games? I think it's the games hat causes it.. (Why would you play barbie?)

Never happened to me, you should probably play further from the TV and take a break of a few minutes every once in a while.

Never has happened to me but I have heard it can happen more often on certain games or if you have played for hours without a break it can cause sickness.

Yes, I have experienced the same too. It's usually because of 3 reasons though:
1. Certain patterns of colors
2. Bad camera angles or certain cameras like in FPSs
3. Prolonged gaming sessions
A perfect case for numbers 1 and 2 is Busby 3D. I played that game for 5 minutes and was dizzy and nauseous. Then again, that was a really horrible game...

To much playing games will do that to you, though certain games do give you abit of sickness.
